Better known as ‘Toothpick Tony’ because of his penchant for chewing on a toothpick while sitting at the poker table, Antonis Kambouroglou has been a long-time regular at the high stakes cash games and weekly tournaments at Star City Casino.
Although he considers himself a cash game specialist, Toothpick has enjoyed a number of impressive tournament finishes in recent years – namely a first place finish in the 2-card Manila event at the 2008 Aussie Millions for $20,000.
This year he enjoyed three cashes at the Aussie Millions for total winnings of more than $25,000 and a 35th-place finish at ANZPT Sydney.
Toothpick’s total career tournament winnings currently top $50,000.
