The biggest one of the year for Star City. Total entries this year were down a little on 2008 due to international abscences and a reduced number of walk ups, the play was as fierce as ever.
With 2 matches playing out on each table in the Sports Theatre, spectators were treated to a star studded line up which went long into the night...

26 High Rollers took to the felt each paying $15,300 for the privlidge. Jarred Graham claimed first prize (again!) and cashed $156,000 for his trouble.
On Tuesday night 17th October, some of Sydney’s biggest sports and entertainment stars joined invited guests to celebrate the launch of Star City’s new Poker Room.
Guests included NRL players Wendell Sailor, Braith Anasta, Brett Kimmorley, Ben Ross, Glen Stewart and Chris Hicks, boxer Danny Green, AFL player Adam Goodes, TV personalities Jason Dundas, Darren McMullen, Laura Csortan and Mike Goldman, former Olympian Melinda Gainsford Taylor and model Alice Burdeu.
Star City hosted 400 regular players to celebrate the opening of its new poker room.
